The Ka’abah of Iblis

The Ka’abah of Iblis was created in the spirit of the Opposer as found within the work Qutub. With that in mind, in opposition to the Ka’abah of Mecca this reliquary houses not a stone fallen from Heaven but a stone risen from the depths, that of Obsidian. Atop the obsidian column suspended inside is carved the Eye of the Opposer, gazing up from the deep. The sigillic work on the Ka’abah itself is taken from Qutub.

The Capstone

The Capstone of the Ka’abah was made with two functions in mind, that of sealing the space when not in use and also as a focal point in ritual, being of the right size to sit comfortably in the palm of the hand.
